FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions from auction and estate sale companies.
What is BidBuyZoom?
BidBuyZoom is auction software for auction and estate sale companies. It brings online catalogs, bidder registration, bidding, invoices, payments, consignors and reports together in one system.
What kinds of sales can I run?
You can run online-only timed auctions, estate sales, business liquidations, moving sales, buy-now listings and catalog-only events.
How are payments handled?
Payments are processed through Stripe. Your company connects its own Stripe account, and bidders pay their invoices online by card.
Can I use my own domain and branding?
Yes. White label options let you run sales under your company name, logo and colors on your own domain or subdomain.
Can I import lots from a spreadsheet?
Yes. You can import lots from a CSV file and export your catalog. An import can also update existing lots, so you can change a few columns without retyping the rest.
How do lots close?
Lots can close in staggered intervals instead of all at once, and you can turn on bid extensions so a late bid adds time and other bidders get a fair chance to respond.
Can bidders get text messages?
Yes. Bidders who choose to opt in get texts about their bids, won lots and invoices. Text consent is given separately for each auction company, and bidders can reply STOP at any time. Email notifications are also available.
Is there a tool for lot photos?
Yes. The BBZ Image Tool is free with BidBuyZoom. It renames, numbers, resizes and crops lot photos so they are ready to upload to your catalog.
Can I manage consignors?
Yes. You can keep consignor records, assign lots, track commissions and prepare settlements.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. The bidder site works on phones, tablets and computers, so bidders can browse, bid and pay from any device.
Can I try BidBuyZoom for free?
Yes. Sign up free and explore BidBuyZoom in demo mode with sample sales, lots, bidders and invoices. No card is needed until you choose a plan and go live. You can also request a guided online demo.
What is demo mode?
Demo mode lets you try everything with sample data before you pay. Nothing is published, no emails or texts are sent, and no cards are charged. When you choose a plan and add a card, you can remove the sample data and keep the company profile and settings you set up.
How much does BidBuyZoom cost?
The Basic and Pro plans are a monthly subscription plus a fee for each sale. For high-volume companies, or for white label and API options, contact us about Enterprise. See the Pricing page for current prices.
How do I get support?
Send a message through the contact form or email support@bidbuyzoom.com. Support hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Central. The Company Help guide also has step-by-step instructions.
