SMS Terms and Conditions

1. BidBuyZoom messaging program

If you opt in, BidBuyZoom may send recurring text messages concerning your bidder account, bids, won lots, invoices, payments, security, customer support, and other information related to auctions and sales you take part in with the auction company you opted in for.

BidBuyZoom is the sender of these messages and sends them on behalf of the auction company named in each message. Your SMS consent is provided to BidBuyZoom for messages about that auction company and is not transferred to the auction company or any other business for its independent marketing.

2. Consent for each auction company

Consent is given separately for each auction company. If you take part in auctions run by more than one auction company on BidBuyZoom, you will receive text messages only about the auction companies you agreed to receive messages about. Consent you give for one auction company does not apply to any other auction company.

3. Voluntary consent

Participation is optional. Consent to receive SMS or MMS messages is not a condition of creating or using a bidder account, bidding, or buying. You may continue without selecting the SMS consent checkbox.

4. Message frequency and charges

Message frequency varies depending on account activity, bids, sale results, invoices and payments, security events, and support needs. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier and service plan. BidBuyZoom does not charge a separate fee for participating in the messaging program.

5. Opting out

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to a BidBuyZoom text message. Because all program messages come from the same BidBuyZoom number, replying STOP stops messages about every auction company. After you send STOP, you may receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You will not receive additional messages under this SMS program unless you later opt in again.

To stop messages about one auction company only, turn off text messages in Settings on that company’s BidBuyZoom site. Other recognized opt-out requests may include END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT. For the most reliable processing, reply STOP. Opting out of SMS does not prevent communications through other lawful channels when appropriate.

7. Mobile number and delivery

You represent that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number you enroll and are authorized to consent to messages at that number. If your number changes or is reassigned, you must opt out or notify BidBuyZoom promptly.

Delivery depends on transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Availability may vary by carrier, device, location, and coverage.

8. Privacy

Our handling of information associated with the messaging program is described in the BidBuyZoom SMS Privacy Policy. Mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in data, and SMS consent will not be sold, rented, transferred, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

9. Changes to these SMS Terms

We may update these SMS Terms to reflect changes in the program, our practices, or applicable requirements. We will post the revised version with a new effective date and provide any additional notice or obtain new consent when required by law.
