Consignors

Keep your consignors (and estate sale clients) in one place with their contact details, ID code and financial terms.

The consignor's ID code links them to their lots: put that code in the Seller field of each lot in the catalog.

Fees and commission

  • Commission: tick the box and enter a percentage to give this consignor their own rate. Unticked, the sale's commission is used, or your company default.
  • Pickup fees and Other fees: tick the box and enter a dollar amount. Unticked, nothing is charged.
  • No buyback surcharge: tick to exclude this consignor from the sale's buyback surcharge.

These settings are used everywhere the consignor's money is worked out: settlement, pay consignors and reports. Set them before paying consignors.

Choose Also Bidder to create a matching bidder record for the same person.
