Sales Tax

Sales tax may be added to an eligible purchase. The amount can depend on the items, the transaction, and applicable tax rules. Review your invoice for the tax actually charged.

If you believe your purchase qualifies for an exemption, ask the auction company what documentation it requires and when it must be submitted. Do this before payment when possible. Do not assume an exemption from a different sale or company will carry over automatically.
