Binding Contract
A confirmed bid is a commitment. Before confirming, check the lot, bid amount, buyer's premium, taxes, and any other applicable charges. A maximum bid is also an instruction to bid automatically up to the amount you enter.
If you are the winning bidder when the lot closes and any reserve or other conditions are met, you are expected to pay and complete the purchase under the sale terms. A leading bid before closing does not guarantee that you have won. Do not bid on a lot unless you can meet its payment and collection requirements.
If you entered a bid in error, contact the auction company immediately. Only the auction company can decide whether its terms permit a correction or removal; do not assume a bid can be canceled.
