A lot closes when its displayed countdown reaches the end and no further extension applies. Wait for the final result: being in the lead with time remaining does not mean you have won.

After closing, check your account and invoice for the result. If the lot had a reserve, it may close without a sale even if your bid was highest. If the page freezes or your connection drops, reload it and verify the recorded outcome rather than assuming a bid was accepted.
